Sermon Outline for “The Body of Christ, The Church”

All of you together are , and each of you is a part of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27

1. Be Born Again…of Water Baptism and Holy Spirit
2. Pursue Holiness through prayer, Bible Study, and service to others (disciples making disciples, purposefully advancing the Kingdom of Christ)
3. Live in community (regularly worshipping together), no longer living to self…an active part of the Body of Christ (inside and outside the Body)…sharing the Gospel with others.
4. Give generously your time, talents and resources (example: worship one-serve one).
5. Submit to the authority of the Church Elders and the authority of God’s Word

Obey your spiritual leaders, and do what they say. Their work is to , and they are accountable to God. Hebrews 13:17
