Ephesians 2:1, 4-6

As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins…  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus .

Ephesians 4:20-24.

20 But that is not the way you learned Christ!— 21 assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.

2 Cor. 10: 4-5

The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every high thing that exalts itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Carnal man: Regenerate, but living much like an unregenerate, a believer with childish ways.

1 Corinthians 3:1-2 (NKJV)
