1 Corinthians‬ ‭6‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 msg 19  Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. 20  God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body. 

Worship does not happen in the SANCTUARY, worship happens in the temple.

Galatians 5:19-21 ‘The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. ‘

Caring For Your Temple

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”

You do not have because you do not ask God.” James 4:2

Fuel, rather than Feed

Genesis 1:29 Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food.

What you consume, eventually consumes you.

Proverbs 6:2 “you have been trapped by what you said, ensnared by the words of your mouth.”

Proverbs 18:21 “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Much harm is done to us by the things that go into our mouths and the things that come out  of our mouths.

HEALTH and Healing is your birthright

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭147‬:‭3 “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭1‬ “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”

We can sell our birthright for what satisfies our appetite.
