1. What is prophecy?
Prophecy is receiving a direct word from God for the situation on hand, through the mouthpiece of one of His people. It is the declaration of the will of God.
2. The spirit behind the prophetic.
3. Prophecy happened throughout Biblical history.
4. Prophecy is still for today.
5. The purpose of prophecy in the NT.
6. Prophecy is to be tested.
7. Not all Christians have the gift of prophecy but all are encouraged to pray for it, because it is so useful for other members of the Body of Christ.
8. Prophecy is not compulsive or some ecstatic state that can’t be controlled.
9. Prophecy is for men and for women.
