“Who do you say I am?”

Matthew 16:13-17 BSB – When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, He questioned His disciples: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” “But what about you?” Jesus asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah! For this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by My Father in heaven.”

John 14:6 BSB – Jesus says to him, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father, if not by Me.”

John 10:9-10 NASB20 – “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.”

John 8:12 BSB – Once again, Jesus spoke to the people and said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Isaiah 9:2 BSB – The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.

Romans 10:9 BSB – If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
