Psalm 131
1 O Lord, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me. 2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. 3 O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. What is Humility?
1. A bent (131:1)

2. A controlled (131:2)
2 But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me. Psalm 131:2

3 O Israel, hope in the Lord from this time forth and forevermore. Psalm 131:3

What does humility accomplish?
1. By humility, Jesus our redemption.

What is Humility according to Psalm 131?
A bowed head in settled faith about God’s present and future rule.
A bowed head (bent posture) in settled faith (controlled composure) about God’s present and future rule (directed future).
