Do You Live Like an Owner or a Tenant
After the religious leaders interrogate Jesus about the source of his authority to do what he does, he stumps them with a question of his own about authority. Having silenced his critics, he goes on to answer his own question by use of a parable. Through the parable we learn that the very nature of God is the reason that he has all authority and is worthy of our complete submission.
This morning we’ll see four truths about God that tell us why we need to submit our whole lives to him without reservation:
Because God’s authority is undeniable (vs. 1-3)(MULTILINE)
Because God’s patience is remarkable (vs. 4-5)(MULTILINE)
Because God’s grace is sacrificial (vs. 6-8)(MULTILINE)
Because God’s judgement is inevitable (vs. 9-12)(MULTILINE)

Who or what is the most recent messenger God has sent into your life? How did you receive that messenger? Are there areas in your life in which you’re acting like an owner instead of a tenant?
