AS JESUS IS ABOUT TO DISPLAY HIS POWER TO COMMAND THE SEA, HIS SLEEP IS A SIGN OF DIVINE SOVEREIGNTY.
In Christ alone my hope is found,
He is my light, my strength, my song;
This Cornerstone, this solid Ground,
Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.
What heights of love, what depths of peace,
When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!
My Comforter, my All in All,
Here in the love of Christ I stand.

“It is a tragedy that the Christian religion is in many minds identified merely with pious ethical behavior and vague theistic beliefs, suffused with aesthetic emotionalism and a mild glow of humanitarian benevolence. Stewart, Thine is the Kingdom, 1956
