Don’t forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night. Daylight Saving Time ends on Sunday, November 5th.
Join us Sunday, for Sunday School Classes for children and adults at 9:00 am, and for worship at 10:00 am. Kids from Kindergarten thru 5th grade may go to Tecumseh Cove Kids, our version of Children’s Church, during the service. We will offer Communion in the traditional manner (bread and grape juice) and we will also have the individual servings available if you would rather. If you aren’t able to attend the in-person worship service, you can watch the live-streamed service on our website (www.tecumsehcove.org), our Facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/CovenantChurchTecumseh/ ), or YouTube.
The Deacons’ Prayer Family of the Week is Tim & Sandy Spence Please lift their family up in your prayers this week.
Pastor Richard takes communion to our members who cannot attend church. If you know of someone who would like to have communion brought to their home or care facility, please let the church office know.

The Women’s Choir practices every Wednesday at 7:00 pm. All women are welcome.
We are collecting food stuff for the Fishes & Loaves food bank, which is part of the Neighbors of Hope organization. They need cereal, pancake mix, syrup, ramen noodles, canned fruit, boxed potatoes, refried beans, sloppy joe sauce, spaghetti o”s, canned meats, boxed dinners, ketchup, mustard, bottled water, coffee, small bags of sugar and small bags of flour. There are tubs under the Welcome Table in the Narthex for you to place your items.
Operation Christmas Child: Two weeks left! Please return your filled shoeboxes to the church by November 12, 2023. I will deliver them to the local drop-off site Nov. 13-16.
Celebrate Recovery will host a free, 30 minute Narcan Training session here at the church, on Nov. 7th, at 7:00 pm. Narcan is used to treat a narcotic overdose in an emergency situation. Community Mental Health will provide the training and the church will receive a free Narcan kit.
There are brown gift bags in the Narthex for visitors to our church. If you see someone new, please feel free to give them a bag. It contains information about our church.
There are still baby bottles that need to be turned in for the Care Pregnancy Bottle Drive. Please bring them in so I can deliver them.
Stacia and the TC Kids are hosting the November Body Building Pie Baking event on Nov. 12th. Bake your best pie and bring it to the church on the 12th. If you would like to be a judge and eat pie, just give a $1.00 donation. All proceeds go to the Community Learning Connection and will be used to purchase winter items for local children.
If you like doing jigsaw puzzles, check out the table in the library. Join us in our puzzle exchange.
The Learning Cove is in need of a file cabinet that has two locking file drawers. If you are able to help them with this, please contact Deb Phillips at [email protected].
