Ready For Jesus (Week 5)

Matthew 24:12-13

1. The Problem: “lack of love”

“There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves…” (2 Timothy 3:1-5)

2. The Reason: “lawlessness”

“And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.” (Matthew 24:12-13)

3. The Solution: “perfect love”

“This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.” (1 John 4:13-19)

We have “perfect love” when we:

• Possess the Holy Spirit
• Confess the Son
• Express the love of the Father

4. Main Point: We are ready for Jesus when we are filled with perfect love.
