How to Walk with the Holy Spirit
I. Introduction
A. We want to be a church that is and by the Holy Spirit!
B. Luke 4:1 (NLT) Then Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan River. He was led by the Spirit in the wilderness.
C. Luke 4:14 (NAS) And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.
D. Luke 4:18 (NAS) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives, and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppressed.”
E. Acts 1:8 (NAS) “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
1. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are three different but they don’t have three different !
F. John 14:16 (NAS) “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever.”

II. Some Common Questions About the Holy Spirit
A. “Why doesn’t the Holy Spirit speak as to as He does to you?”
1. I Samuel 3:7 (NLT) Samuel did not yet know the LORD because he had never had a message from the LORD before.

III. Two Guidelines Concerning the Holy Spirit’s Promptings
A. Don’t the Holy Spirit.
