- It is important to have consistent and intentional times in the Bible to give us a sound mind, to strengthen us, to help us grow in our knowledge of God, to help us guard against temptations and all the enemy’s schemes, and to prepare us for the storms that are coming – those crisis moments that seem to cripple us
