Was there something you had never heard before or something you had a question about? What is the greatest celebration you have ever attended or seen? Explain what made it so great. What does worship mean to you? What are some things in your life that you would admit to worshiping? Go back and look at each of the five purposes of the church. Which ones are a regular part of your life? What ones are lacking? Pray and ask God for clear direction in each of these areas that you may grow closer to Him. What are some ways you celebrate the Lord? Read Psalm 139. What do these verses say about God’s knowledge of us? Do these verses challenge you to respond to God in any particular way? If so, how? What are some specific things you are thankful for? Take time this week and thank God for what He has done for you. A heart of celebration and thanksgiving leads to dedication. What are specific areas in your life that show your dedication to the Lord? Read Colossians 2:23. In what ways does this verse challenge you? As we hold our ministry fair today and dedicate the new spaces God has provided for us, pray and seek direction from God about areas you can serve. Also, seek His face regarding adult discipleship groups that He would have you join. Pray about it: Meditate on God’s Word (Nehemiah 12:27 & Zechariah 4:10) and this week’s message. Adoration: What can I praise God for in light of what this teaches me? Confession: What sin can I confess because of what this teaches me? Thanksgiving: What can I thank God for in light of what he has done? Supplication: What do I need to ask of God in order to grow in light of this? DID YOU KNOW?
