We are invited to in God’s mission
- Just as the disciples left their nets, following Jesus often requires letting go of old ways of life, priorities, and comfort zones
- Following Jesus is an active choice
We are by our shepherd, the Lord
- God will never give us a plan and leave us by ourselves to figure it out
We will face
- In light of opposition, we must stand for righteousness
We are to be as as serpents and as doves
- Avoid the temptation to retaliate
We must lose our to find it
- We cannot continue to live for ourselves and expect to really live a meaningful life
